No signs or evidence of cancer from plastic bottles have yet been found. Various studies have found no evidence for this. But long-term use of plastics is certainly harmful.

You will see that some numbers are given on the back of the plastic bottle. Check and buy these. Check the expiration date of the bottle. Drink bottled water never runs out and bacteria and fungi grow easily in the bottle. So wash and rinse with warm water occasionally. And dry well then fills with water.
