Alzheimer's is a degenerative disease that is inherently irreversible and progressive. It is a type of dementia (memory loss), a common term associated with a permanent decrease in brain function that ultimately reduces the ability to perform normal daily activities.
The disease usually affects people over the age of 65. However, the onset of Alzheimer's disease can be much earlier. In 2006, 26 million people were infected. By 2050 this number is expected to be 1 for every 75 people.
The root cause is not yet known; Scientists have found large amounts of protein in the brains of Alzheimer's patients. This excess protein disrupts the normal functioning of brain cells and can lead to death. According to the data, the incidence of this disease increases with age. Numerous studies are being conducted to find the real cause of the increase in nerve damage (such as contractions, oedema, and the formation of free radicals in any part of the brain) as a result of age-related changes and Alzheimer's disease. If it occurs in the early stages it is mainly due to genetics and it is usually a rare type, on the other hand, the type of late-onset depends on genetic, lifestyle and environmental factors and this kind of tendency are more prevalent.
The disease progresses in three stages:
Lighting:
It allows a person to perform normal activities but forgets certain memories such as a place or a familiar word. Other symptoms include not remembering names, forgetting a recent event, losing or missing something, and having trouble planning or taking action.
Made Med:
Surviving long hours and forgetting a recent event or forgetting their identity, always worrying and moving away from social relationships, some people have trouble controlling their bowel movements and lose contact with reality.

Serious:
Not responding to environmental stimuli and general conversation in the neighbourhood, as well as complete dependence on others.
Alzheimer's disease is diagnosed through a number of tests that determine a person's mental capacity and other brain abilities over time.
The disease has not yet been completely cured, but the symptoms of amnesia or dementia can be controlled with medication. Scientists are continuing their research by slowing down or completely curing the root causes of the disease.
